Is this series reverse-harem or not? I get that the synopsis states that it isn't; but it can be found under reverse-harem genre, so I am a little confused.

While technically it is not a reverse harem, it shared many characteristics of one. As mentioned by Izzy, the three mages are protective of the MC, and all display romance vibes towards her (in very different ways). The MC is casually dating one of the mages but it is no great romance (as so far as I have read).
This book is kinda unique since it does not commit to reverse harem genre while giving off a feeling of one. I notoriously dislike RH but I like this series, so if you are really curious just give the book a try. I did, and so far am not regretting it. (less)
