Goodreads asked Jodi Rath:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Jodi Rath Every . . . single . . . thing!!!! No joke! I've worked as a VP of a credit union, in insurance, advertising, communications, and education. For me, education was the most multitasking I've ever done! Now that I own my business and write full time (I write educational articles for affiliations, blogs, and publishers regularly--also, I write fiction--my cast iron series--two more series are currently being developed too) I multitask more than I ever have. I work seven days a week all hours of the day. I've never worked so hard in all my life. I never understood what people meant by the phrase "When you do what you love you will never work a day in your life!" Now, I completely understand that phrase. I have to force myself to sleep or not take my laptop to friend or family gatherings.
