Goodreads asked Mira Brooks:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Mira Brooks I take a break and consider the situation I'm stuck on. How would I handle it? How would I like the story to continue if I was reading it? If it is really stumping me, I close the window and open a new one. There is no rule that each piece you start has to be finished before you begin another. Write when inspiration strikes and stop when it has gone dormant. Sometimes I will go watch something or read something to give my own brain a rest and inspiration will spark again. It is a process. You have to navigate the waters like anything else in your life. Some is hard and some is easy.
