Hi! My wife got me into the Library at Mount Char and while I'm only about halfway through, I know I'm going to need more. I don't see a lot of recent activity from your blog and was wondering if (hoping!) the sequel was still in the works or if that's not likely? Sorry if this has already been answered, but I'm new to Goodreads and haven't found a good way of searching through the questions.

Hey Isaac,
I'm working on something not related to Mount Char at the moment. Where I'm at with the prospect of sequels is I think when / if I ever finish this book, I'll do a short story or two set in the Mount Char universe and see if anything sparks. Without getting too spoilery, you can see where it might be tough to find a worthy antagonist for a second book.
And yeah, I am terrible about keeping up with the blog. Social media in general, really. That's actually not all that cool. I'll try to be better about that.
If / when anything is ever ready to read I will post it everywhere, of course.

Was the freebie story that was supposed to take place about a year after the end of Library at Mount Char ever released? I went to your site to look for it and I didn't see it. Also, any chance for a sequel or something else set in the same universe? I think that following Erwin's story line, or what happens to Father when he leaves to the next world would be a great place to start from.

Hey! This was more just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed The Library at Mount Char and how it was one of the most unique novels I've ever read! Who was your favourite character to write? I loved Carolyn, but I think overall I loved how you wrote David the most.
