Hi there! I’ve just started reading your books and I love them! My question is about your future work. I’ve noticed that in many historical romances, authors will mention or have a plot point revolve around a supporting character’s queerness, but I’ve never seen an author who does historical romances write a HEA for a gay or lesbian character. Would you ever consider writing a queer historical romance?

Hi there! This is a great question. As an academic, I wrote a book on queer theory, so called, so for me this is a very historical question. People didn't identify themselves by whom they slept with in the period I write about--that didn't come about until Oscar Wilde. So two things come to mind for me. I'm a strong support of LBGTQ writers, and I wouldn't want to move into a patch that wasn't mine, if that makes sense. And second, I don't think I could write a really romantic romance, because the question of history would be foremost for me. More likely, it would turn into a historical novel. I'm so glad you're enjoying my books!! Thanks for the interesting question.

Hello! First, thank you for your books - they are all so wonderful! I absolutely love Four Nights with the Duke, and it is my favorite book in the genre. I would love to see a book about Charlie (with some sneaks at Mia, Vander, and their kiddos). Any chance? Many thanks for your time!

Hi Eloisa, I've just finished The Ugly Duschesss yet again and it just hit me... did James suffer from some form of Dyslexia or ADHD? I ask because although I don't suffer from any of those illnesses I did study them in school and I find it interesting when authors give characters such illnesses when they weren't discovered nor understood until years later. Many Thanks x
