Rainbow Rowell:
In England I’ve heard basil pronounced “BAH-sil” (as opposed to “BAY-sil” in America.) So is Baz pronounced BAHz since it’s short for basil and he’s in England? My friend and I have an argument about this. :)

Hmm. It's not quite either. It rhymes with "jazz." So I guess it would depend on how you say that word, that "a" sound.

Is the Mikey in Slow Dance and the Mikey in Eleanor & Park the same person? I also noticed there's a mention of someone named Mikey in Landline that Georgie went to high school with, but I assume this was in LA not Omaha. Is this an easter egg or do you just really like the name Mikey??
