Sarah
Sarah asked Rainbow Rowell:

I really want to read your books, but I don't know where to start, so which one would you suggest starting with?

Rainbow Rowell Hmmmm... what are you in the mood for?

'Attachments' is the lightest, I think. Good for people who feel like they need to get a life (as soon as they figure out what that means). Funny (I hope) supporting characters.

Do you like to cry? 'Eleanor & Park,' then.

I find 'Fangirl' really reassuring. Slow burn love story. Lots of sweaters. An interesting structure.

'Landline' is a sneakily serious romcom. 'It's a Wonderful Life' + 'Back to the Future,' about married people.

And 'Carry On' is my favorite.
