Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Daniel Kelly after david gammells troy series I realised that things were always politically motivated, and that things did not necessarily happen the way we have always been told. I have always loved the troy story though not necessarily the illiad, honestly, its a horrible read in my opinion. I broke it down and took the parts I liked and started building a story around it. though even I wasn't sure how it was going to end until the ending
