Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

R.C. Berry My most recent book, Sleep My Baby, came about as I began thinking of my estranged relationship with my mother. There are certain parts of your childhood that will never leave you, so I decided to start compiling them. My friends have often joked about what my reaction would be if I ever found out I was pregnant, so I decided to write about a young woman who, upon learning that she's pregnant, starts thinking about her own childhood.
