What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Eric Suddoth The best thing for me as a writer is sitting back and allowing the story to write itself. It is an amazing feeling when you start to get to know your characters and the story becomes alive. I have had many moments when I believed the story was going to go in one direction and as I was writing a chapter, I was shocked at how it ended up. It is as if the story becomes alive and I am just writing what is happening. It's an unbelievable feeling.
