How do you get inspired to write?

Eric Suddoth I have many ways I get inspired. I let my mind wander and if I keep coming back to a similar character or story, then I scribble down the idea. I do not start writing that moment. I give it a few months before I do. To make sure that I really like the idea. But I get moments of inspiration as I drive in silence or walk. I just let my mind drift off and daydream. Call me foolish, but you are never too old to daydream a little.
