I'm curious about Flora in The Little Shop of Found things. What kind of arthritis does she have?

Hi Bev, thanks for your question. I have based Flora's condition on both first and second hand experiences of arthritis. I was keen not to identify a specific type, so that her condition could stand as symbolic for all people suffering chronic pain and a non-curable disease. The symptoms I have given her mostly resemble osteoarthritis in the ways it responds to physio and medication but is progressive and has flare ups. As I say, this is based on my own experience(s) of the disease, so I don't claim to be an expert. I hope that makes sense to you. Do you have any particular experience of this sort of thing? Hiya Paula! It might be the flu, but I'm very confused. I own The Winter Witch and The Midnight Witch, on the spine of which it says they're both Shadow Chronicles. However, according to Goodreads, Midnight Witch isn't on that list? In which order should I read them? I'm waiting for The Witch's Daughter to arrive before I begin, and I'm very excited. They sound really great. Anyway, thanks!

I'm confused about The Case of the Missing Frog Prints and Once Upon a Crime. I read Frog Prints first because it's listed as the first book in the series. Once is listed as the second. But it's as if Gretel is meeting Ferdinand for the first time in the second book when they're already acquainted in the first. What's going on?
