Would you ever write series for favorite characters such as Sidheag and pack or perhaps a prequel about a certain beloved floating vampire professor? Maybe an Akeldama prequel? I'm OBSESSED!

Anything is possible. I have three novella lines for spin-off characters.
1. The Delightfully Deadly stories (all characters previous featured in the Finishing School books, begins with Poison or Protect).
2. The Supernatural Society stories (all queer characters all the time).
3. The Claw & Courtship stories (werewolves and the ladies who love them).
4. Sidheag could fall into any one of these lines, but most likely Delightfully Deadly. I may write her story eventually bit it would be hard to do, she weaves in and out of all three of my major series and she pops up a lot.
5. It's unlikely that I will ever write a vampire main character. I never rule anything entirely out but...

Dear Mis Carriger, I love your books very much. I especially love (other than the steampunk style) that there are lots and lots of travel involved in many of your books. What do you think as a writer and as a creative person how travel and getting to know other cultures from first hand affected your art? Do you think it is important for artists to travel more?
