Hi John, I've discovered that your books are very expensive! I like to buy hardcovers, will we see reprints at any point?
John Gwynne
Hi Barbara,
It's great to hear from you.
It is getting harder to find hardback versions of my earlier books, especially Malice. They can only be bought second-hand now from private sellers and I've been told the prices for them have been going up.
Unfortunately there are unlikely to be any hardback re-prints of my first series, the Faithful and the Fallen. I think Ruin and Wrath are still available in hardback on Amazon.
A Time of Dread, book one of my new series, is also still available in hardback in the UK.
I'm sorry I can't be of more help. Hardback copies are by nature limited print runs and so more collectable. I've been told that occasionally a copy will come available on Ebay for a reasonable price, but you'd have to check regularly.
All Best,
John

John Gwynne:
Dear John, I am extremely unhappy with Malice and also Valor which I am about halfway through. I find myself wishing the day away and going to bed early just so I can get a few extra hours of reading in. I am also not getting enough sleep. These books are far too good and I want you to think seriously about my health when you write your next one. There are more, right?! Yours sincerely, Adam

Saw the news today about the new series and my first thoughts were ‘oooh I wonder what they’ll look like?’. This led me to wonder how much of an input you have in that side of things? Do you give ideas/directions for cover art etc? If yes, do you already have ideas for the new ones or does that come a lot later? Thanks, and congratulations on the new deal!
