Will you be writing anything after the faithful and the fallen?

John Gwynne Hi Matt, great to hear from you, and thanks for your interest in the Faithful and the Fallen. I am writing the fourth and final book of the series right now, and after that I will be writing a new series - at the moment a planned trilogy. It's set in the same world, but about a hundred years after the events of book four of the Faithful and the Fallen. Here's a link to what my publishers had to say about the new series.

I started Malice yesterday (page ~60 right now), and I think that I can spot a lot of analogies between the Kingdom of Scotland and its various fiefdoms and the invasions of Norwegian reavers. Big fan of Malice, really pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. In the process of getting Valour. The books have a very strong Celtic vibe to them especially Corban's own people. What drew you to this culture in particular rather than the more standard pseudo medieval world of a lot of fantasy universes?
