I would say that that minimum age is twelve, just because younger children might be easily scared by the murderers. There's nothing gory or descriptive in this one or really, any of her mysteries. But the murderers and the suspense can be frightening for the younger generation. You don't have to worry about swears or inappropriate scenes though. Although they do say "I'll be damned." Which might be considered a swear and they use God a few times as well.(less)
