Georgia Hunter:
I would just like to say how much I enjoyed your book We Were The Lucky Ones. I have read thousands of books some more memorable than others, yours was one that will stay with me. You brought the family to life, & could feel their suffering I loved the fact that they were such a close family. I was so pleased that it had a happy ending I was so afraid that they would not find each other. ?

I want Georgia to know that she has put the inspiration in me to work harder, endure more, have hope, fight the fight, and quit being lazy. When times get hard for me, does Georgia know that I will recall her family's struggles and gain hope and strength? Thank you for sharing your family's story!

If I could write a standing ovation I would. Such a great read you should be so proud, not only wonderfully written, but an important piece of history as well. Thank you for sharing your story. My question is, how many country’s did you visit to do your research and was it hard to visit Poland and the places your family lived? Especially the ghettos? Also, how long did it take to write the book?
