OKay, what am I missing here? I didn't read the first book, but I shouldn't have to. How can (they are mermaids who live underwater), they have curtains that rustle? They have trays of snacks and stuff, HOW? They drink things (From cups, I assume) doesn't the stuff mix with the trillion gallons of ocean water? I can suspend belief in some things but come on...
