Elise Kova There's only one non "fade to black" sex scene (in book three) and I would say that it is not explicit. I believe it's clear to the reader what's happening in this scene, but it focuses more on feelings/emotions and leaves the literal acts to more vague terms or unmentioned entirely.

Other sexual elements of the series are fade to black or left to mentions/implications.

Note... It's been a while since I wrote/re-read the series. So I hope someone will leave a comment below and correct me if I'm forgetting something!
