Hello David. A thought I got while rereading A Dance of Cloaks. How/Why on earth did you come up with that weird and disgusting worm guy?

David Dalglish It all started with the name. I wanted some form of slimy informant, so I came up with the nickname the Worm. From there, I tried to imagine who that nickname would apply to, and why they'd have earned that nickname in the first place. Once I'd written the first scene with him, I realized just how creepy and awful I could make him and went all out.

Do you have a book which describes the story he summarizes when speaking with Tarlak? Forgive me if I have butchered the spelling of your characters.
