I finally got my husband hooked on your books as well. He's listened to all of the audible audio books and has re-read the Shadowdance series twice now. Currently, he is developing a concept of a Jedi warrior as a cosplay idea. His idea is to make Haern into a Jedi. Our current discussion is how many cloaks to create for the look and how short the lightsabers should be to emulate your character. Any tips? :)

First off, that's awesome, and if this gets done I demand pictures of the finished costume :-)
As for the cloaks: generally I say it's a combination of three fairly light cloaks, one for the left half, one for the right half, and an overlapping third to cover the back and parts of the other two. I'm including a link below to the actual photoshoot Orbit did, and the cloaks they used were heavily influenced by yours truly. You should be able to see how they formed their costume, particularly the cloak, in those videos.

As for the swords: the key is dual-wielding them comfortably, which is going to be a personal preference by your husband. Since they'll be lightsabers and not actual metal, he can probably get away with making them about a foot shorter than most than most regular lightsabers.
Hope all this helps!

Why did Ashur choose to kill Karak at the end of The Breaking World? Power? Revenge? Need for him to be imprisoned with Karak for historical accuracy?
BTW, been power reading through your books. Started a month ago and have finished Shadowdance, Breaking of Worlds, and am half way through Paladins. Great writing.

Hey David, I just finished the 6 Shadowdance books, and as much as I loved them, the last book... I must say frustrated me a little bit haha. But I was wondering what series would shed some light on and lift me off of the cliff you left me hanging on at the end of Dance of Chaos (the epilogue)? Thank you for your time, look forward to reading more greatness.
