To me, the best thing about being a writer is the ability to reach inside another human being and touch their heart or emotions, however you would word it, and get a reaction. I have heard from readers that cried, laughed, got mad at me, wanted to hug me, wanted to hit me, wanted to adopt me and one that wanted to "pound me into the ground like a tent peg." I know I have accomplished my goal through the reactions of the readers.
