First off, fuck you. Used to be able to run through pretty much anything fiction in a sitting, now I can't even remember the last book I finished. Jorg's character has been sitting in my head ever since I read Prince of Thorns and I'm unable to shake his realistic philosophy from my thoughts. Any recommendations for something similar, other than ACO? (Best chapter I've ever read was No other Troy)

Not sure what ACO is... No Other Troy is in the Broken Empire omnibus (A Complete Omnibus?) and Road Brothers.

Not sure about anything similar. People used to mention Abercombie in the same breath as me... not read him yet though.

Afternoon, Mark. Do you have any tips on discovery writing? I've written two novels now that feel so 'meh' using extensive outlining. I'm writing a third, but I'm already losing steam following the outline. There's just no life or finesse in my work--nothing jumps off the page. I want to be able to write more character focused. However, I think of sitting down to write with nothing to follow, and it scares me :)

Hi Mark I am currently reading The Liar's Key and regarding the Wheel of Osheim (mentioned also on the Prince of Thorns series) can't help to think it's actually the Large Hadron Collider!! Am I right? On a second note, I like how the whole setting revolves around the power of will, would you say some persons are born with more willpower than other? or is it something acquire along the way? Thanks!
