If you were sent on a magical quest which other 4 fantasy authors would you take with you?

That rather depends on the nature of the quest. If the chances of survival were essentially zero I would take authors I don't like with me, or ones I felt the world would be better off without!
If the quest required a cool head and military thinking - then Myke Cole, as a former serviceman and mercenary. Also his selfless nature would make him likely to come after me when I got in trouble!
If it were a sword & sorcery affair then Doug Hulick because he's damn near seven foot tall and a skilled swordsman.
If it required the gentle arts of negotiation then Mazarkis Williams because she's ridiculously reasonable and polite.
And, probably George RR Martin because it would be fun to have a chat with him.

With Red Sister being a departure from the Broken Empire series, did you do much world-building? I know you have mentioned that you do not do much revising and drafting when you write, so was curious if you had the same approach regarding world-building (assuming this is not a spoiler and/or is a secondary world).
