Thanks for the great reply Nicholas. Reading KotW RN, currently at the chimera scene and loving it, some of the best action writing I've read since David Gemmell. Sorry this isn't a question. So here's one, did you have any particular Heavy Metal band in mind when you were imagining Saga?

I didn't have a particular band in mind (though Led Zeppelin was close). Instead, each member of Saga represents members of a 'typical' rock band: Gabe the lead singer, Clay the bassist, Ganelon the axeman (lead guitar), Matrick on drums, and Moog playing every zany instrument (keyboards, flute, triangle, cow bell) under the sun.
