I am really enjoying Broken Girls. However, there is a small thing about the book that is driving me crazy. In many of the chapters set in 1950, you mention that the teachers are wearing polyester dresses. Are you aware that polyester was just being developed in the early 50's, and it's highly unlikely that anyone at that time would have been wearing a polyester dress? Not a big deal, but it's distracting.
