What advice would you give to aspiring writers?

Jessica Khoury Read as much as you can, in as many genres as you can. Read insatiably. Read ingredients on your food. Read warning labels on heavy machinery. Read the newspaper, read magazines, read manga--anything goes! The best way to learn to write is by reading and imitating other writers. I learned by imitating Brian Jacques and T. A. Barron when I was in middle school. Read and write a little every day, and eventually you'll discover your own unique voice.

My kids and I just finished listening to MYSTWICK and we LOVED it so much. I love the interweaving of music and story, and I love a magical world based on music for it's power. The world seemed so alive. Please say this is to be a series?! Please!!

Hello! Big fan here! Skyborn is hands down one of the best series I've ever read. I am desperately hoping for a fourth book or an epilogue book of sorts, and I'm writing a fantasy/adventure story of my own. I'm on page 108 and chapter 11. I was wondering, what advice do you have for young authors or about writing in general, especially on amazing, complex characters and beautifully clever plots and adventure novels?
