Is this book worth the read? All my friends LOVE it, but I'm not sure if I would like it. It doesn't seem like my kind of read. Suggestions on if I should or shouldn't?

If you do read it, keep in mind, this is based in America, around 100 years in the future. I found it very confusing as to when and where it was based, and how the relationships within the families worked.

You should definitely have the rest of the books if you do read it. I borrowed the first from my cousin and am desperate to get my hands o the second one. I would also recommend trying to read it in one or two shots, otherwise you cannot concentrate on anything else.(less)
