I'd like to know how Goodreads allows someone to rate a book that won't be available for months! And the rating is 2 stars! How does that happen? Tana French is a terrific author; her previous books rate highly; every author can have a dud, but shouldn't the goodreads reviewer actually READ the book before giving it 2 stars?! I think Good reads should remove that rating.
Lee If the reviewer actually read an ARC, fair play to ye as they say in Ireland. But yes I've seen many, many reviews, pro and con, for yet-to-be release…moreIf the reviewer actually read an ARC, fair play to ye as they say in Ireland. But yes I've seen many, many reviews, pro and con, for yet-to-be released books and it's clear they didn't read the book but only wanted to "rate" the book to say "I luv Author X can't wait to read!!!!" or "Author X is trash" or even "This book's price is too high, greedy publisher!!!" It's beyond irritating.(less)
