asked:
Did anyone else have a problem with the "tricking her into having a baby by substituting sugar pills for her birth control pills?" The author is a woman. Has she never seen B C pills or how they are packaged? They don't come in a bottle. This guy is not a billionaire with a pharma company in his pocket.

I did think about that for sure but then remembered I was reading a novel and let it go. But like others I did wonder who Josie was and if I needed to go back to see if I missed something.

I had a problem with it. I would consider that abuse! I thought about how Ethan could have tricked out the BC package so well but then let it go because I was busy hating him for such a terrible thing.
Andrea Mazdra
I thought the exact same thing! I almost couldn't get past it.
Laurita Hearn
This was one of the many issues I had with this book. It seemed poorly researched. I completely lost interest with the descriptions of life in France.
Terry Stormon
I did not give the pills a second thought, but why do authors confuse you with character's names when no need. We read police officer graham is talking to Filly then all of a sudden a Holly is thinking about this and that & I am wondering how she is mixed up, but have to go back several chapters to find that just once Graham is referred to as H. Graham. Duh!

I remember this from a soap opera before, not sure which one, but it was in a packet too. Seems like the guy used one of the "display only" packets that doesn't actually contain birth control pills, in case a kid gets ahold of them. I don't know if companies make/distribute them, or how difficult it would be to get your hands on one...
Molly Noa
My birth control pills do come in a bottle because I take progesterone-only pills, but I think that's uncommon. But I would absolutely notice if someone switched them for sugar pills, because they have a distinct shape/color.

I did think the very same thing. However, I still enjoyed this complex audiobook.

I was wondering that also. Could one peel off the foil in a sheet, replace each pill in its little plastic blister, then replace the foil?
Linda Frances
I won't say it was impossible, but certainly highly improbable. There were several other improbabilities, but this was the worst, to me.
Kelly Anderson
The only thing I could think of was that she put it in a special pill box/container?? Still confusing how she wouldn't notice they were different...
