Robert Blumenthal
Robert Blumenthal asked Amor Towles:

Hi. Just finished A Gentleman in Moscow. I wasn't that interested in reading it until I saw you interviewed by Elisa Jaffe on Well Read. I am so glad that I read it, for I thoroughly enjoyed it. One question I have is why you chose to title each chapter with a word beginning with the letter a. Was there some meaning in this, or was it just an alliterative exercise or challenge?

Amor Towles Dear Robert,
I'm glad you persevered and enjoyed the book. You may find the answer to your question in the FAQ at the bottom of the Q&A for AGIM at amortowles.com
