How would you describe the beginning of your career?

P.C. Cast In the beginning of my career I wrote for three major publishing houses, taught high school full time, and was a single parent. I'd describe that as difficult and exhausting, but I refused to give up. It was my eighteenth published book that hit the NY Times bestseller list and changed my life.
