Hi P.C.! I was really hooked when I first read your books in highschool. Recently I remembered them and finished the HoN series again at the age of 30 and they're still amazing! I was just curious is there any news on the TV/big screen adaptation? I can't wait to see it. Love, Melisa

P.C. Cast Hi Melisa! We're currently in pre-production of the first feature film and lots is going on but I have to wait for the green light from my producer to make announcements. Just know that I will as soon as I'm able!

Are you a fan of Elvira? There are some aspects of Shannon/Rhea from the Partholon series that honestly make me think of Elvira, just a less macabre version, and I wonder if any of that was from you enjoying the aforementioned character.

P.C. Cast I think Elvira is a great character but I don't know a lot about her. Many of the characters in the Partholon series are based on friends and family members.

Will there be any more books set in the House of Night realm in the future?

P.C. Cast Besides the four new books I wrote a few years ago, LOVED, LOST, FORGOTTEN and FOUND? At this time I have no plans to write another HoN book. I'm busy in preproduction with the first HoN feature film as well as other projects. Perhaps after the movies...

What ever happened to Dysasters #2?

P.C. Cast Many years ago not long after the release of the first book our publisher cancelled our four book contract for this series because of low sales. Instead they asked us to write a trilogy we'd proposed to them some time before which became our SISTERS OF SALEM trilogy. So, there' won't be any more Dysasters books because, sadly, not many people wanted them.

Hi im am your #1 fannnnnn i love your books But when do you get an idea for a book? do you just sit down one day and an idea just pop up orr???

P.C. Cast I do a lot of research through reading and travel and life experiences. Ideas don't pop into my head magically. I work hard on using my research to brainstorm, research more, brainstorm more and then outline outline outline.

Hello Again! I'm coming to an end to most everything you've written. I was wondering if you could recommend an author that is similar to you? I love how most of your characters are strong, outspoken, hilarious (like Aphrodite and Lina) and usually animal lovers. I just love your style of writing and your vivid story telling. I would love to hear your thoughts. N Hopefully in the future we will get a HON movie or show!

P.C. Cast Divine Beginnings is just a 10,000 word short story. It's not long enough to be a book. It was just a special little prequel I did for Harlequin a long time ago.

I have just finished reading the HON series again. I just wanted to let you know How much I enjoy reading your books. Even though they make me snot cry just like Zoeybird. My wife is forever handing me tissues LOL. Thank you for being such and awesome author. I hope you continue to fill my everlasting book crave?

One more and then I'm done. Are you always planning to keep writing about greek mythology, gods/goddess, other worlds? In whatever form they come in I just can not get enough. So excited for Boudicca. AND PLEASE GET CIARA"S DESTINEY OUT THERE!

P.C. Cast I'm planning a whole series of ancient queens books that will deal heavily in historical fantasy and mythology. BOUDICCA is the first. The second, which I just turned in, retells the story of Scáthach, the ancient queen on whom I based Sgiach in the HoN. Happy reading!

First I have to say what talented writer you are. I first read all 20 books of HON and Other World HON. Moved on to the goddess summoning books, and now I am on the last Partholon book. (I always skip to the last pages to read because I am impatient and have to know) Brighids Quests ends with Fallon and Keir escaping and finding the Fomorians who everyone thinks are dead. PLEASE TELL ME THERE WILL BE ANOTHER BOOK!?

P.C. Cast Hi Chelsey, I would love to write another book in the world of Partholon, but have not been contracted to do so and unless I'm under contract to write a book I don't have time between my deadlines. Glad you love those books! I do as well.

Merry meet P.C. I'm almost finished with your HoN Otherworld series & just... WOW!!! I'm in love with these books & sad to know there will be no more. I love how you have incorporated your pagan beliefs into them. I'm a new pagan (only been practicing for a few years), but I love how I understand their spellwork & customs. I am a huge fan of House of Night series. I am currently working on my own novel to hopefully get published. I was looking through the questions you have answered and I’m not sure if you’ve already answered this already but as a writer I was thinking that you could of used a website to correct grammar, punctuation and etc. What website would you highly recommend to use for correcting errors in writing?

P.C. Cast Hi Alyssa, I've never used a website or a program to correct errors in writing. I do that. It's part of being a professional author. I'd recommend reading a lot and writing a lot, and then rewriting a lot more to hone those skills. Best of luck to you!

P.C. Cast Hi Theresa, I haven't given up on Tales of a New World. I'd love to write another book set in that world, but my publisher has not contracted me for more and unless they do I probably will not have time to write another book. As with EARTH CALLED, I didn't have a contract for the book. But I didn't want to let my readers down, so I committed to my fans that I would write the conclusion in my spare time, which is really like taking on a second job with no pay. It took me several years, but I finished EARTH CALLED, which is when Macmillan decided they would publish it. My schedule is too tight for me to do that again, and honestly, I need to take a break between books so I don't burn out. I'm glad you love the series; I do as well! Happy Reading! Check out my January 21st release of BOUDICCA. I think you'll be very happy with it!

Hello. I am reading currently reading the Otherworld Series in House of Night. I am reading lost and on page 275 I noticed in the beginning it mentions Aphrodite who is not present in this scene and I think it is meant to say Anastasia. It is not a big deal, but I am wondering if that is correct? It’s my first time reading the otherworld series am I enjoying it very much. Thank you.

P.C. Cast That's a typo that slipped through and was supposed to have been corrected. Glad you're enjoying the series! I loved writing those 4 books. FOUND is my favorite of all the HoN books. Happy reading!
