I wanted to read more from the author when I heard about the film adaptation. So I took the opportunity to read the book then saw the movie two days after finishing it.

You've probably already made your decision by now but I'd suggest to others with the same question to see the movie first, and if you liked it read the book. The heart and soul of the book made it to the movie but if you are interested in its mind, go check out the book.(less)
