Jeannette The movie is a feast for the eyes and ears but I found the story lacking. Then I started reading the book.

Wow! Translating this to a movie can not be easy but worth trying.
The sights and sounds of it only enrich my reading. It may be better that the film and book differ. So personally - watching before reading has worked well for me. (less)
