Susan asked this question about Of Blood and Bone (Chronicles of The One, #2):
This is ridiculous that fans have to wait an entire year to read the second book. I love Nora Roberts but frankly I think I will stop reading her books. This is not the first time I have experienced the long wait with her series. Is there a logical reason for this?

It saves me the "dying for the next book" problem. And I don't have to familiarize myself with the story world all over again. As much as it drives me crazy to wait until the series is done, it is so much easier for me to deal with.
Someone else mentioned Outlander. I was lucky enough to start the series after in 2014 and was able to read the first 8 books without waiting. So I've had only one period of waiting years for the next book.
I've been lucky enough to discover other series after they were completed.
I have a shelf named "not reading until series is over" - an idea I got from another GR reader, so I can keep track of them. (less)
