Be Charmed by These Bewitching Books from 2025

This is ridiculous that fans have to wait an entire year to read the second book. I love Nora Roberts but frankly I think I will stop reading her books. This is not the first time I have experienced the long wait with her series. Is there a logical reason for this?

Someone mentioned George R R Martin and I'm still waiting for the final novel or two to be published and that series started in 1996. I didn't find the series until a few years ago, so I haven't been waiting that long for him to finish. However, I did read Clan of the Cave Bear in the 80's, soon after Valley of Horses came out. I had to wait until 2011 (that's over 30 years for 6 volumes) for the final novel. So waiting a year just doesn't seem like that big a deal, especially when I can enjoy two JD Robb and Shelter in Place in the meantime! (less)
