This is ridiculous that fans have to wait an entire year to read the second book. I love Nora Roberts but frankly I think I will stop reading her books. This is not the first time I have experienced the long wait with her series. Is there a logical reason for this?

Even the big name hugely popular authors are restricted by the publishing house's schedule of book releases. And geez, writing a book is HARD work! I don't write myself but I have TONS of friends who are authors. They do have to sleep and eat, and take care of their families. And yes, even many of the "big" authors can't survive on royalties alone. They have to work for a living too, and writing novels is in addition to that. So, have patience!(less)
