This is ridiculous that fans have to wait an entire year to read the second book. I love Nora Roberts but frankly I think I will stop reading her books. This is not the first time I have experienced the long wait with her series. Is there a logical reason for this?

I thin…moreHey there - I read a lot of books by authors who you have to wait a year, sometimes longer in between the release of the next book in a series. I think that authors want to make sure they publish a good book and not just rush it out the door. Plus I imagine they have personal lives as well and don't just spend all their time writing. I prefer the wait (even though it is torture) and sometimes just wait until the year that the final book will be released to read the series, than an author who pumps out tons of books quickly and most aren't even their writing. I wouldn't stop reading her books, just because she takes her time with her writing, but that is just me. Happy Reading! (less)
