Now that I've read and reread the Bobiverse series, I find myself struggling to find other sci-fi stories which I enjoy. I wondered if you had any sci-fi authors or stories which you would recommend?

Dennis E. Taylor I don't have any hidden gems, unfortunately. My favorite books are the expected ones: The Martian, Ready Player One, Lock In, The Fold.

I'm reading a lot more non-fiction these days, so less time for good SF.

I just finished Roadkill and it was great. Is Roadkill going to be a stand-alone novel, or will we get to join Sheldon and the crew on more adventures in the future?

When I try and extol the virtues of your writing on other people I tend to describe it as "deceptively complex and intelligent ideas disguised as shallow dumbassery". Is that what you're going for or have I been offening you greatly from afar? Or do you just not mind what anyone says if it sends a paying customer to your door? :)
