When I try and extol the virtues of your writing on other people I tend to describe it as "deceptively complex and intelligent ideas disguised as shallow dumbassery". Is that what you're going for or have I been offening you greatly from afar? Or do you just not mind what anyone says if it sends a paying customer to your door? :)

That's a positive comment and if someone described a book that way I'd grab it immediately.
As a general rule, though, I don't worry too much about negative comments or reviews. There will ALWAYS be those. Even The Martian got panned a lot. As long as the majority of people like my books, I'm ok.

I have very much enjoyed the first 3 Bobiverse books, and am looking forward to reading the fourth one. However, it is only available in audio format, and I am hard of hearing so those don't work very well for me. Why did the audiobook come out first? And why so long until the printed, or even an e-book will be available for the deaf and hard of hearing, so that we can enjoy your latest book also?
