I write the books i'm called on to write, and I don't think about possible adaptations. My job is to write the books. Everything after that is up to someone else. I assume you saw the first season of "Midnight, Texas"?

Hi! Just started reading Midnight Crossroad, and so far I love it. (No surprise there!) I saw a preview for the TV pilot, and it looks sooo good. I was wondering if you had any idea if it's going to be picked up for an entire season..? I wasn't sure when the companies announce their line up from pilot season. I still watch True Blood all the time, but I would love to see another one of your creations come to life.

Hi Charlaine. A friend and I are currently buddy reading The Harper Connelly series (we recently read the Midnight books) because we wanted to see where Manfed first appeared in your universe. We're reading book 2, Manfred just appeared and my friend and I are curious to know if you created his character knowing he would star in his own books later on or if after creating him you decided to write his story?
