How do you get inspired to write?

Luke Green Getting a buddy to bounce ideas with. I am lucky I had a good mate that wanted to write a book also and we could have long conversations on what could work and not. I really got good advice from that and also overtime when I finished a new chapter ( even in its roughest form ) I would read it aloud to my wife. She has been an asset to help in this process as she wasn't afraid to tell me what she thought was amazing and what needed exploring more.
