And did the result of the veering that Gabe performed into the TM had any impact in these societies-transforming or changing them into improved and freer versions(or any changes at all)from the once each were.Did these societies become connected in a way accepted by the villagers? And are those who possess gifts still retained their abilities? Thanks!

Lois Lowry Well, it is tough to answer questions about the future because I didn't write more books in the series after SON. So your guess is as good as mine. But I liked thinking that Gabriel was the one who finally brought an end to all the flawed worlds, who made things right, who became a saviour of sorts.
