I gave the book 5 stars which I very seldom do; I think I've only given one other book the maximum number of stars over the past five years. Graphic abuse descriptions can ruin a good book for me but this author was able to tell this fascinating story and get her points across without causing me to lose sleep . The author has told an excellent story written from the perspectives of two different characters. I'm currently bedridden as I recover from a torn meniscus and I'd love to find another book this good to make time pass faster.(less)
