How do you get inspired to write?

R.C. Rumple My mother started reading to me at an early age which bred my desire to read every book I could get my hands on. I often sat back, after finishing one, and wondered if I could ever write something as fantastic as what I'd just read. I wrote a short story in the late 70's that I made $75 on. As things happen in life, other careers become a part of the daily routine and writing gets pushed to the rear. When I took early retirement this year, I decided to pursue my dream. Two novels later and another on the way, my dream is becoming a reality.
