Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

R.C. Rumple Growing up in rural Indiana gave me plenty of chances to experience the "strange but true". I was actually treed by a pack of wild dogs one night as described in the book. Unfortunately, my father worked the night shift at a factory and never knew about it, and my mother figured I was spending the night with a friend, as I often did. By morning, the pack had departed and I ran my tail through the fields and jumped on my bike to get home.
