I noticed that you wrote only good things about the Kansa Indians in your books. Had you ever met any? When does your next book come out as I will soon be done with "Kimimela"? I really have enjoyed your Manhattan series books! You are such an inspiration to me.

I lived in Manhattan for over two years back in the mid-60s. I met a few people with Kansa (Now they prefer Kaw) blood but there aren't any full-blood Kaw left. I enjoyed meeting those I did know.

I am working on the next 2 in that series and hope to have the next one published before the holidays.
My most recent book, "Kaleigh McKenna" the story of a young woman in the USO during WWII was released earlier this month.
