Hi Peter, I've just discovered the Demon saga and I'm glad I did! I'm about 2/3 the way through the Painted Man. Wow, I love the story and the world you've created! Thank you! If there was a single point of inspiration that you had for the series, what would you say that it was?

Hey Bill, thanks so much. So glad you're enjoying Painted Man. I worked on that book for 7 year before it saw print, and there were a lot of points of inspiration, so it's hard to hold up just one. The original short story that kicked it off was a homework assignment for a writing class, so you could fairly claim I was inspired by not wanting an F.

Hello, i just read the first tome of the demon cycle and it has been the most enjoyment i got from a book since a long time. I wanted to thank you for coming here and explaining more about why you wrote the famous controversial scene the way you did. I was a bit thrown away after reading it, but it made much more sense with your explanations. I'm going back to book 2 now and hope to see you one day in France maybe ?
