Matthias' death in CK was absolutely heartbreaking, especially because he had just experienced such a huge awakening and his relationship with Nina was really just beginning. He death was definitely jolting. What was the symbolic importance of his death? Were you considering killing off other characters instead, or was it always going to be Matthias?
